Do you know the four bases that hold the nucleic acid of the DNA helix. Thymine, Adenine, Cytosine and Guanine. Nice illustration!

Artist's Description

Image of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) unwinding and creating two new daughter molecules. The DNA molecule is a double helix whose strands are linked by base pairs. DNA encodes genetic information in the sequence of these bases (adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine). The coiling strands are made from a sugar phosphate polymer. When DNA replicates the strands unwind and act as templates for the new molecules.

Scientific artwork for large modern interiors such as a designer home, corporate office, biotech company, science museum, school, research laboratory, university, hospital, clinic, dental surgery or doctor's office. Then came a long stint in university based medical video production (including two years at Stanford University in the early 80's). My first award was a CINE Golden Eagle in 1984. Dozens of film and video awards followed. In 1997 I received a Graduate Diploma in Electronic...
