Artist's Description

A colossal DNA column or statue covered in scaffolding and being repaired by workers. The monument on a plinth in the middle of a desert. Originally done to illustrate biological DNA repair mechanisms, it's now more apt to show history (as stored in DNA) being damaged by iconoclasts and vandals.
