Modern geometric abstract art with brilliantly coloured bars and triangles. In my technique, discovered accidentally several years ago, 3D structures are flattened and rendered (a pure form of abstraction) creating complex intersecting areas of flat colour. These areas break into smaller zones, producing an intricate fractured jigsaw of colour. The result recalls cubism, colour field painting, hard-edge painting, and abstract expressionism, with a dose of futurism, whilst being entirely new and unexpected (and unpredictable). A machine-age mix of struts and silicon for a minimalist home, inner-city office, or high-tech start-up. Dominant colours: blue, red, and yellow.
Flat triangular forms in pastel colours evoke ice cream flavours. Refreshing, clean and flat. Vanilla meets skyscraper.
